Muzeu Edukativ

Suhareka as a municipality (administrative structure) exists from 1928 and on the same year we have the opening of the first school in the town, initially as a 4 – year primary school. The historical importance of the school lies on its social and educational achievements. A number of local personalities of the time were brought up in this school, which grow up nationally and internationally, and played important part on shaping the future of the municipality.

The composition of the structure was made according to the principle of community, so first the semantic interpretation was made through the materials, where communication was made between natural stone materials and the artificial stone – concrete. This has the tendency to present the continuity of generation throughout education.

The building is multidimensional structure with a regular geometric layout.

The building has functional content like, spaces for performance, spaces for indoor and outdoor exhibitions, summer cinema etc.

In the semantic aspect, the structure resembles a movement in the form of a dance where the hierarchy of elements creates order and composition in the structure.
